Peter Alleyn lives in the Wiltshire village of Hindon. For over thirty years Peter was a schoolmaster in Salisbury. Retirement in 2001 enabled him to concentrate on oil painting. Peter's style and techniques are very traditional. His main aim is to create scenes based on our area, many depicting local towns and villages. He has recently started to produce miniature paintings of birds, animals and idyllic landscapes.
The areas that he specialises in are: North Dorset, South & South-West Wiltshire and East Somerset. Peter is always prepared to accept commissions from anyone who would like an original oil painting.
